*Beep, Beep, Beep*
The annoying beeping of my alarm clock awakes me.
Monday.
The start of a whole week of school.
As I reluctantly roll out of bed,
I remember today’s big science test,
That I didn’t study for.
Dread sets in as I make my way downstairs.
I am going to bomb today.
Blue mouthwash fills my mouth
And I glance out the window.
A glimmer of hope appears.
More bright snow cascades down
On about two feet already present.
I hurriedly finish my morning routine
And turn to the news.
No school today.
I am saved!
I quickly retreat back to my bed
And note that I should study today.
